I've done some research before posting, but I've been unable to find a solid answer. I'm thinking about putting 4runner TRD 17" matte black wheels on my TRD OR. Also considered powder coating the stock wheel, but I think the 4runner ones look better. I don't think they make a 16" wheel so I'd have to go up to 17". I don't off road a ton, mainly because I work a lot of hours and don't have much time. Would I be sacrificing a lot if I go to a bigger wheel? What are the biggest tires that would fit without rubbing (no lift right now, may lift it a couple inches later). Any advice on a lift (for function, not trying to lift it a lot) would be appreciated too. Any real downsides to going from 16 to 17? I still want to be able to off road.

Can you find the old FJ wheels - 16 inch? Do they fit the Tacoma?
