Anybody out there drink any type of Protein or workout shakes?

I just joined a gym and started working out. I also started drinking protein shakes called Power Shakes by PowerBlendz. It was what the gym I joined sold so I got some. Not sure if its the best but it seems to be working great for me as a meal replacement. I have toned up quite a bit and have also lost 10 pounds in two weeks since I started laying off the Double Cheeseburgers and Bojangles and drinking the shakes.

What type of workout shake or meal replacement shake does everyone else use?

I drank this while as a meal replacement while I was lifting and dieting.

I liked the chocolate. It is low carb, low fat and high in protein.

    It came highly recommended.

That first 10lb of weight loss is going to be water weight. The rest won't go so easy. Check out bodybuilding.com for more supliments than you thought imagined. Stay away from what the gym sells. It's going to be overpriced. I use optimum whey gold standard. It's one of the most popular ones. Does the job for me. I've also started using BSN no-xplode as a pre workout supliment. Eventually I'm going to switch it to aftershock as a post workout supliment.

I have had pretty good results with Nitro Tech. I take one scoop before I workout and 2 afterwards. I also take some casein protein at night before bed.

Yep. I use the cheap Vitamin Shoppe brand. 1-2 shakes per day between meals.

Just eat pasta and drink milk.

I used to add 2 eggs to each protein shake with a table spoon of olive oil and I noticed improvement with that.

plenty of good stuff out there! Make sure it has whey protien for fast digestion after work outs! They also have powders with multiple types of protien.

The more that I read the more people seem to recommend the Gold Standard 100% Whey. I went to their website and I saw that they had a Variety Pack, I might give that a shot and see if there are different flavors that I like. Just found out that GNC carries it so I might have to stop by the mall on my way home tomorrow evening.

I vote ISOPURE Low Carb. Its super high in protein and no sugar and low carb so if you are using it as a meal replacement you aren't drinking your calories and carbs back as you would be with some other brands on the market.

And the Dutch Chocolate tastes really good.
