lol they make REALLY awesome vehicles to flip. :anonymous:

not any time soon... I'm 100% happy w/ my 2nd gen for a long time.

but eventually... yea, I'd go back to a turd gen... I loved mine. haha

I am hoping for a 4th gen redesign, I just couldn't get passed that front end. My 2nd gen should last long enough.

I agree I would like to see what a 4th gen can bring. If it is cool enough then I could see myself eventually getting one and then caging up my second gen. As a DD though, full cage would be too loud.

You sir have the right idea....Plus I honestly think (hope) they take lessons learned from the cult following the 2nd Gen has and the series of missteps they made with the turd gen and come out with an epic 4th Gen. But we might have a ways to go for that. See what happens over the next few years, who knows they might fix a lot of the third gen issues over the next few years. Especially with the competition heating up

I researched Tacomas for about 2 years before I finally bought one. Ideally though I wanted one similar to this:

I just couldn't find one in good enough condition.

agreed. there are a LOT of issues w/ the 3rd gens from the Transmission software, to the leaky rear diff, to the squeaky interior...

hopefully they get something w/ a little more power / fuel economy in the 4th gen

Im sure they are...but at some point a platform has to take place to go from automated/minimal programming to the smart drive train technology that the third gen has some perspective of. I bet they will continue to use the third gen as a test platform for the fourth gen where things can hopefully get more refined.

The front end of the third gen saved me from having any desire to buy one, especially to drop my coveted second gen for one.

My plates have been shipped, and I all for a clean look. I still may end up with 255s....

I figure I have about 6000 more miles before I need to replace tires, hopefully i'll have a lift and what not in place, then its just a matter of swapping the tires.

I thought you said you take it easy on the trail because you were worried at full cycle on the trail?

Eh, I got nothing to say then.

Step up from Dirty Sanchez haha!

Hell everyone at work just calls me by my last name...I was out with people from work and they introduced me to some other people who were confused that Sanchez was my first name....they kept asking what my last name was.

Yea but who does full cycle every trail? If im just going normally, I don't do that. I didn't care for a year.. when i stuffed the front, i was looking for my max, to see if I needed the CMC or not.
