8psi was all that you needed to keep the tank pressurized? that's good, really good

Neat idea OP, however being only 3.5 gal doesn't seem like it would be enough for anything other than a quick wash or spray.

10 psi sprung leaks on mine, but 8psi kept a nice steady stream. I also used 1/4" coiled air hose and quick disconnects (for water) with a low flow shower head wand mounted to my bed rack. Worked good, I just needed more water capacity due to the GF taking hollywood showers at the campsite.

I'll have to go back and look up that pump. I was thinking along the lines of an air compressor pump. My neighbor has a small, 2-tank compressor with a tiny air pump that keeps it at a certain PSI. Maybe rig up something like that? Again, I'll have to look at the pump you mentioned.

And, in the other tank, just rig up a keg tap:

Well I would in theory carry more water to fill up, the idea is to have heated water on demand for quick rinse off. But you're right 3.5 gal wont allow for long "hollywood showers" as @Trident904 mentioned below LOL

Oh I see, I'm able to get mine up to 50 PSI so far, I haven't tried to go any higher TBH, as ABS with heat tends to degrade how much pressure it will hold. If I build a 2nd one it'll be out of PVC as I read it holds higher pressure and is a helluva lot cheaper

The degrading is a concern. I am trying to find a reasonable price on some CPVC locally as even the PVC starts dropping PSI ratings pretty quickly in the heat.

Doesn't appear to take up TOO much space either.

You're right nothing really, the tractor supply one has on demand pump. I just looked the form factor of the frontrunner just not their price

A little bit of $$$, but a freshwater tank (below floor) for 70-74 Airstream fits perfectly between the wheel wells of a SB and allows use of crossboards and plywood over it. 45 gallon capacity.
    Made mine today.

Space. The 15 gallon tank takes up some awkward space. The pump is removable and could be used with the frontrunner tank.

Fuck it, I'm getting a frontrunner tank.

45gal is 360lbs of additional weight. Probably overkill for most, and if 45gals is really needed, then that person should be pulling a trailer with the tank mounted on/in it instead..

Im just saying it fits. Takes up vertical space but not bed length and lets gfs/wives have their longer showers without running out of water the first day.
I will however kindly disagree about it needing a trailer.
