    bought a firestick universal mount to mount between the tailgate and I'm looking for a good flexible antenna. Don't want to go over 3' really

    I bought a 3 foot firestick....put it on a medium duty spring.....same mount and location you are talking about today actually.....I have seen flexible fiberglass ones on Amazon....for about 20 bucks. K40 brand or something

    The tunable tip makes it easy to tune with the swr meter.

    Yeah ...took me literally 1 min. to adjust. 1.0 swr pretty much on all channels. I remember years ago when you had to cut the firesticks...lol I had my first cb at 11 years old...

    I'm new to the cb world so not sure about tuning them either right now just have a roof top mount and only use it when trail riding.

    Not sure if this thread died, but I was looking for the same antenna, and wasn't sure how to mount it. Are you guys using a universal mount from Amazon, or something specific? Also, how hard was working the cable to where you needed it inside the cab?

    I kinda rigged mine up with things I found around my shop but mine works great. My cb is mounted in the center console and the antenna wire runs down and under my gear shifter and seat and comes out the back of my cab up and over the bed behind the toolbox and up under the lip of the bed to the antenna mount and you can't see it. I still have some slack in the wire as well
