Okay, I am hoping someone can help me because I am lost in the sauce...

I am trying to buy new tires for my taco which are going to be 255/85 r16s, and I figured it was also a good time to get non-stock UCA's. I am planning on going for the JBA's but as it says on the website "Please Note: 255/85R16 (33.1" x 10.0") and larger tires need aftermarket wheels with 4.5" back space."

My wheels I have are -22mm offset with 3.6in of backspacing.

The part that is confusing to me is that I don't know how the UCA would interfere with any of the wheels with LESS backspacing since the tire is further from the suspension components.

I also could have no idea what I'm talking about.

The higher the back spacing the closer the tire is to the suspension. The JBA require a maximum of 4.5" backspacing because the ball joint mounting sticks out more than most ucas

So based on what you're saying it sounds like the website worded it very poorly.

You're saying I need a MAXIMUM of 4.5 inches of backspacing?

Meaning my 3.6 would be okay? As opposed to having a 5 inch which would not work?

Yes 3.6 would be ok. Stock wheels would not work unless a spacer is used
