This looks so rad! By far my favorite method of doing this that I've seen. So, in layman's terms, the resistor keeps it from rapid blinking, and with it plugged into the socket it was too long so you just soldered the wiring to the bulb? How did you mount it in the corner light itself so it would be solid?

    Thanks!

Exactly, running lights will be white like normally but when I need to turn or have my hazards on they'll flash with just the proper amber color.

Kind of compiled everyone's different ideas and gave my own a shot.

Just keep the cut out tight and they wedge in there nicely.
Add some plastic weld and they are there for good! Hopefully the LEDs last forever because it would be a pain to remove one.
These are almost too bright, wanted to stay low key lol but I guess I'll have to wait and see how they look on the truck.

Note** the load resistors get freakin hot! Don't run power through them full time or something will burn.

That's my plan B. Considering I have the socket, would just have to pick up the builb if needed.

Just did this mod in preparation for an all pro tube bumper. 100% better than where they were. Probably gonna run pods in place of the old housings until I get my bumper.

Shout out to the OP for the pics and write up on page 1. It was as easy as you showed. Totally stoked on my new trail gear bumper and this makes a very clean finish.

Kinda at a loss as to how to get this photo to show. I guess this is the best I can do, as I've tried all four linkage options.

So is Zam15's method of putting in switchback LED's in the side marker lights the only way to run LED's?

For the using the connectors off Amazon? I don't but someone else might. Just look at the first post on the thread and instead of all the work to mate the bulb socket to the side marker light all you have to do is drill a hole and push in the light socket. Easy peasy.
