Hi TW,

Glad to meet you all. After diving into the forum since I bought my Taco six weeks ago, thought I'd make it official.

The truck:
2017 Tacoma TRD Off Road M/T
Mods: window tint, ARE Overland cap, TRD PRO skid plate
On order: SOS slimline bumper, Shrockworks sliders, medium duty Dakar leafs
....and of course the tailgater deterrence hook

Great forum...learned so much these past weeks.

Hey how do you like that camper shell? It's on my list of options. Can you throw out some more pictures of it inside and out, shoot me your opinion and what kind of price are we looking at? Thanks boss

 

I like the ARE CAP...though took four + weeks to be delivered, that's with some griping to their higher up's.

Re pricing, this is what I bought:
Overland base $1470
ARE interior lining $125
Tilt down front window $125
ARE driver side windoor $150 (love this option)
ARE 12v light with center LED strip $150 (though PA dealer left wires dangling and only turns on when ignition is on and lights on...my bad, should've checked this before I left.)
ARE double T rear door $20
Less $75 ARE coupon
All in $2,082 with tax.

Dog and kids love it..the $159 bedrug is a good, cheap option for the floor. Will take inside pics in daylight.

 

Ps...gained 2mpg on highway with cap..though you notice the weight getting going. When traveling on back roads at 50-60 mph this past weekend, literally averaged 24mpg over 300 miles. That's with cap, no armor (yet) & maybe 450lbs of people and cargo.

 

Who makes the bed rug? Can you post a link? Thanks!

And a link to the BEDRUG from Amazon. Very comfy, two Velcro strips running down the sides keep it secured to bed (though edges not quite flush as you can see).
