Im talking to this guy about his 96 taco right now. It's a 2door 4wd manual 3.4 with 170k on it. He said it's gonna need a new clutch master and slave, a new ac compressor, and new tires soon. The truck also has a dent in the left front and rear fenders. Interior is decent besides some stains and a year on the driver's seat. Im trying to get him to around 3k, would I be getting the short end of the stick at that price or would it be a good deal. Let me know what you think. I already own a 2003 prerunner. 00909_6pkvVhZB8l2_600x450.jpg 00707_j7eJNE8KhSX_600x450.jpg 00808_2Fj28Dc407F_1200x900.jpg 00H0H_4L9G8oNDUnI_1200x900.jpg unnamed (3).jpg unnamed (2).jpg unnamed (1).jpg

Sounds like an alright desk considering the work it needs, and the motor is still running well.

That dent in the back on the bed can be popped back in place by just reaching up behind the wheel/bedside and pushing it out, had the same dent on mine.

If everything has been well maintained and you can fix all the stuff you see yourself, $3k is alright... $2500 would be better and make me more tempted...

I wouldn't pay for any of that work to be done on that truck.

Got him down to $2700! Gonna go check it out in a few days. He said he has alsomeone coming tommorow but if they arent serious hell take emy offer. Let's hope it works out. That would leave me around $300 for clutch and AC work to have another Taco!
