So I posted this in my build thread, but I don't seem to get a lot of traffic over there. I am looking for oppinions on where to mount a transmission temperature gauge. Also, if anyone knows of issues with mounting it in the dash (like if there isn't enough room in that spot).

I am mounting two gauges as well, but do not want them in the pillars so have decided to pull the radio/cd player and put them in its place in the dash.
As far as a new sound system I will hide a small 200w bluetooth amplifier in the cab and feed it with my Android phone.

I only want to mount one gauge, so the double pillar pod is out of the question. I've though about putting it below the radio in the extra DIN space, but it would look weird without 2 other gages next to it.

I am doing something like this with scanguageII underneath
You want the gauges as high as possible to your field of driving vision
