Man.. I just can't get over how amazingly beautiful this truck is. I don't know the seller, just wanted to share the awesomeness with everyone.

I've been eying a nice 79-81 Pickup for a while now, and it's hard to come across any in good shape. This one though is impeccable. Almost all stock, plenty of new stock parts and cleanup. Even Rhino-lined the undercarriage, bed, floor pans and all to prevent rust in the future.

I want one. Just don't have that much spare $$$. Figured you guys would love the photos.

Yeah dude.... me too. This chick on IG has one that's also yellow and posts some decent photos. I follow just for that haha.
One day I'll get one. May even go for an 85 for the ext cab, although I'd be perfectly fine with a 79-81 like this one.

Tons of photos in that link. I'm jelly.

I see them for sale from time to time, the clean ones are always $$$ and the cheap ones are absolutely beat to shit.
In the future, you know, when I have the garage and the money, I'd like to do a complete frame-off resto-mod of one of these or a 1st gen 4runner.

The summer of 1983, I traded in my 77 Toyota truck for a 83 long bed, it was red. Now I drive a 2015 Tacoma Double cab TRD Offroad.

Thanks for the memory!! I had a yellow one that looked like this, except the condition. It had oil field bumpers front and rear, and had been beat around in the oil patch for about 150,000 miles! It was still a dandy beater truck, but I needed something with more cab space, and traded for a newer X-tra cab. It was the start of my love for Toyotas!!

I had a '83 long bed. Loved that truck, should have never given it up. Gotta see if I still have some photos.

But nice enough to take for a couple long drives. According to the ad, he only put 2,000 miles on it, kinda makes me sad. I get that restoring is part of the fun, but so is driving it.
