I've got a 1999 tacoma 4x4 with manual lock in hubs. I've got 3 inch spacers in the front and 2 inch blocks in the back. Would it be safe to put actual 2 inch lift coil springs in the front while keeping my 3 inch spacers? Would anything be in a bind? Like ball joints etc.

    You'd probably need new UCA's.

But I wouldn't do it anyways. Does the spacer go before or after the top hat? If it goes before, you're already putting preload on the spring...all you would do is put even more preload fitting a longer coil in it, and you're ride would be harsh AF.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
This. Your truck will not like 5" of stacked lift.

I'm talking about putting these on. Taking factory off. But keep the 3inch spacers I have now. Would it put my front end in a bind?

You're not to find many people that encourage you to keep a spacer lift on here. They'll probably say get Bilstien 5100's for front and rear and maybe some OME coils up front. 2.5" of lift is what most guys stay under so they don't have to deal with aftermarket uca's to get their alignment in spec.

Are you doing it for looks or to fit some huge tires? Guys can also get 35's stuffed in with less than 3" of lift with tubbing their wheel wells and cutting a little inside the fenders. 33's will fit no problem. Beyond 35's - yeah some more lift could help, but a body lift on top of a suspension lift would get the job done at that point.

Most guys use this stuff: Here's a build with 35's and minimal lift:

having the spacer lift is what will bind your suspension up. besides the 2.5-3" is the max lift you can really do up front before running out of alignment and downtravel

Won't get the truck to align unless you do UCA (upper control arms).

Rid the spacers & blocks. Do it right. You and your truck will love the difference. Check out the 2017 May/June edition of 4WD Toyota Owner. Huge IFS lift guide.

If you're gonna do that... just get these instead

    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/D558--Front-Bilstein-Height-adjustable-5100-shocks_p_146.html
    http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/112-620--ToytecEibach-front-coil-lift-springs_p_14.html

If you buy both, you can ask them to assemble them for you for a small fee (or do it yourself with a spring compressor, it's not that hard)

or you could just buy these. http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com...-Complete-Front-Coilovers--3-Lift_p_1715.html

I guess you could stack a spacer on top of that, but your suspension won't go that far unless you get new UCA's. And new brake lines.
Lifting your truck into the stratosphere is not easy with independent front suspension. Do do it right you have to just replace everything, not like the back where you could just stick a huge block under it and pretend like it's all good.

Ok thanks guys. I'm just going to go with a 6inch suspension lift then.
