Just wanted to chime in and thank everyone for the updates on the 2016+ Tacoma's. I have finally realized that my 2017 TRD DC OR Tacoma was the biggest piece of s*** Toyota has made. After all the countless trips to try to remedy the crazy issues with transmission shifting( 3 different updates) rear end howling, 2 replacement differential, constant stuttering and stalling ( no CPS recall), highway vibrations, entune bs , car washes etc etc. I finally got my local Toyota to see the light. They made me a killer deal on a 2017 Tundra Crewmax 5.7 Sr5 ***Plus pack (some dealer bs prob). Didn't lose a dime on the trade in as they gave me all my money back.

Again the Turd as passed, the constipation is over, relief is in sight

oh and "yes I know its supposed to do that" Words from the wise.

I guess all I could say is good thing I bought '17 Offroad manual, with all the complaints with the auto trans here I would probably be on the same boat as you.
Have fun with the tundra hope it fits in your garage.

After looking at GM/Chevy, Toyota and Nissan. I went with the Nissan Frontier Pro 4x. Some say it is dated and it is. It does not get as good as gas mileage. Yet, the smaller size, good powertrain, good enough ride comfort for me and the lower price convinced me to go with Nissan.

Yes, I am aware of resell value. Not much of deal with me since I keep vehicles 9-10 years.

They made money off you one way or another, even if you think you got all your original money back for the taco, which I highly doubt. Congrats, there's a Tundra forum fyi.

Traded in my 17 TRD OR DC Auto after it got hit and run for a Colorado Duramax Diesel. Getting 30 mpg on the same road where I used to get 21mpg with the Tacoma. No regrets yet.
