I only have 67000 miles in my 2007 Tacoma TRD V6. I haven’t done much except the regular routine oil changes in the past and a couple of wheel alignments. My new tires have about 5000 miles. My mechanic says the brakes are still good. I have been towing a small Casita Travel Trailer since 2015 off and on. I have taken it to 7000-foot elevation recently. I plan to tow it over a few states next year. I am not much of a mechanical inclined person. Do I need to do any special maintenance? Thanks.

Only thing I can think of is change the spark plugs. It's very easy and take about an hour even if you aren't mechanically inclined. Maybe change the radiator fluid since it's a 10 year old truck.

I thought I had low miles ( 2010 with 55k miles) but you got me beat

    Some
Trans flush every 60k. Coolant flush. Differential oil change, and spark plugs. Also clean maf and throttle body. With these regularly maintained your truck should last 1,000,000 miles

Definitely spark plugs. OEM ones can be bought on Amazon for ~$30 and are pretty easy to change.

I would change all the fluids. Front axle, rear axle, transfer case, transmission, power steering, coolant and brake fluid. I would change the serpentine belt and check the idler pulleys. Put the old belt in the jack storage compartment.

Definitely change the transmission fluid if you've been towing. Ten year old coolant also needs changing.

Thank you all! I also did Differential Service, Power Steering Service, Fuel Injection Cleaning, Clean throttle body @ 44559 miles. But I will go ahead and do all the services you recommended soon.

Thanks! I saved miles for the trailer towing. So I don't have to shop for another truck for a long time. So far so good no problems.
