I'd like some additional info on that rear panhard bar. What makes it any different than the rest on the market? Did you go with the "regular" RCVs or the 300m Baller Edition? Thoughts on one against the other? 30 Spline upgrade as well?

    Spent the day with
    IMG_8106.jpg
    And got this done
    IMG_8109.jpg

I didn't realize how much Toyota actually made these to be wheeled.. 40's should fit at stock height now until I get the 3 link done (tires are turned slightly so it looks closer to the bumper than it actually is, and Thats being torn off soon).

Full custom exhaust is being done Friday as well

I would absolutely do the hydro for 40's. Mine was on the equivalent of 34's and I had to replace the box at about 165k.

Rebuilding the box is $135 so not too bad, and its not hard at all to turn on my friends. He's been running 40's for 4 years without hydro assist and hasn't had a problem

Good point. Something you could always do later if you wanted.

I actuallly went to the shop around here in Dallas called BAERTRAX http://baertrax.com/ and picked his brain on what to do with my 97 LC. He shows me his which is on 40s and I saw him do some crazy shit at the Lonestar jamboree and he said he has never had an issue without running hydro but he did have PSC tap it when they rebuilt it.

Yeah I'm sure that's what I'll do. I've seen so many guys have issues with anything hydro. If I actually feel like I need it I'll just go full hydro instead

What are your plans with your 80?

That's what I've read is the better option. What bumpers do you plan on running or will they be custom?

Custom. Tube rear bumper with side protection and a stubby front bumper. Basically just enough to old some lights and a winch

Not much of an update but got the center console mocked up. Didn't have time to go to the hardware store to get some aluminum square tubing so this will have to be finished this weekend. Also have to dremel out the stock center section
