    all tore up already
I doubt anyone has ever applied fluid film to their trucks. Not like toyota trucks have history of rusting:boink:

If it helps at all I just ordered Boeshield T-9 after reading a ton of great reviews. You can do a search on here and a few good link pop up. I plan on using mine for my coilovers and rear Dakars.

I couldn't stand the smell of the stuff... and living in Tennessee, salt corrosion isn't a big risk but I still want to protect it. Also - some people don't even CLEAN their undercarriage before spraying fluid film all over it. In some cases I've seen people douse their leaf springs in fluid film before cleaning and then experiencing noise from the leafs.

Although I know it isn't as heavy duty as fluid film, I like the Chemical Guys combo of

No-nonsense Cleaner - This stuff is awesome in general and I even clean my garage floor with it to get up grease spots and whatnot. Great cleaner for wheel wells, etc., too. Will easily get any built up grime/dirt off your undercarriage.
Barebones Undercarriage Spray - Easy to apply and doesn't leave the gooky film all over. I could smell FF for a couple of months after applying it (and I did so with a tarp down and cleaned up) but every so often more of the stuff would drip down into my garage and it was just nasty to me b/c I hated the smell. Barebones is oil-based though so it can be flammable and I wouldn't put it on the engine/tranny/exhaust/etc., but seems to hold up REALLY well on the frame / rocker panels / fasteners.

Living in Indiana though...perhaps FF is a better fit, but wanted to share another potential option in case you're interested.

Sprayed mine the day I brought it home. Got through one Minnesota winter with little/no rust. No complaints.

Hello fellow Hoosier lol. I coat my whole underbody inside and out in fluid film 2-3 times a year. Truck spent its whole life in California so I started with a clean slate and plan to keep it that way. The smell is not enjoyable at all though, kinda smells like piss. Clean it, coat it and repeat. Cleaning it after fluid film makes it extremely easy after as well.
