    ARB bull bumper, warn 9000 with synthetic rope, icon CO's & 700lb coils, road armor rear bumper, dakars + Archive Garage shackle flip.
    It's a custom setup. I had my old 83 wheeler setup this way. There's another member who has his rear shocks setup this way but his SN is escaping me ATM. He used a different mounting method, but otherwise the same idea.

    Triangulating allows you to run a longer shock where it would typically bottom out on compression/extension. I didn't get all precise with the shock eye locations, just pulled some numbers, did some fuzzy math and made marks for my bolts to weld to. I got lucky that I can take advantage of the full range of travel through the shock, granted it's 80% down travel. Can't get traction if the tires aren't touching the ground, and so far I've only experienced a few off camber sections where a rear tire lifted. At full bump, the dakars are just slightly negative and I have 3/4"-1" of shaft left on the shock for up travel.

    One thing to keep in mind is that when you angle the shocks like that they work/act differently than if your where to have them mounted perpendicular with the frame. My road ride is some what affected due to sway and body roll due to the shock angles, but off road it performs well.

    Ill have a full build thread coming soon but Im running the flip with the SUA and Deaver springs. So far I'm very happy with the set up. There was a little learning curve with the hanger placement after install but the customer service from AG was AMAZING. He called me on a Sunday morning and helped us work through some issues. Here are some pics of it flexing a little while out on Tuesday. Right now the limiting factor is the shocks as I wait for my 16's to arrive. Its hard to see but the shackle on the extended side is about a 75-80* angle and on the flexed side at about a 35*, a little more than an inch from hitting the bump stop still.

    Last weekend, I took the family out camping here in NY, and towed our pop up camper (1700 lbs). The route was very hilly with turns, and the truck did well. I got a feel for the shackle flip with stock springs while towing. The flip definitely softened up the ride, much due to the springs gaining positive arch. Even with the tongue weight and camping gear, the stock springs were just slightly negative. I did notice a mild increase in rear sway, not like body roll, just less steering response on center, then it took a set. I did not feel unsafe with my family. I figure the softer durometer bushings I supply allow some flex, and I can offer harder bushings if you want them. I recently talked with Steve SpartanXtaco who towed near 5,000 lbs from Georgia to Cali and had no complaints with same springs and flip.

    As for the shock relocation, it's tough. I'm not getting squeeks or rattles. Coupled with the 2.5's, it is planted. I don't have them yet, but I highly recommend Fox's with the DSC adjustment option, which is great for overlanders who drive daily unloaded, but load up on the weekends, same for those who tow. The DSC basically takes away the compromising, plus its cool to tune to you liking.

    Would anyone happen to know how many degrees I could expect the pinion to rotate up with this kit and dakars? Probably a very specific question but I have a one piece driveshaft with a cv joint in the front and so i need it set up like the second picture and it is currently set up like the first picture

    I have not measured on a vehicle, but figuring with help of a drawing, the kit with 4" shackles would add an estimated 3 degrees of pinion angle.
    With somewhere over a hundred kits out there now, I've not had a single complaint of driveshaft vibration.

    Thanks man. I will probably be in touch soon. I already have a 3* shim in the leaf pack but it's not enough. Also this gives me a good excuse to build the rear better. The way my driveshaft is set up even with stock suspension it would have bad vibes. The cv shaft is great but it has to be set up properly.

    Yea this picture helped out a lot. A standard one piece the transmission and the pinion must be parallel. With the cv the driveshaft and pinion must be in line. IMG_4769.jpg

    I am working with Ryan on Fox shocks set up for this relocation. He may offer King as well.
    He currently has 2.5"x14" and 2.5"x12" Fox Factory series with DSC in stock, custom valved to your set up, and you don't have to wait 4-6 weeks.
    He also has 2.0"x14" in stock, and can ship them with 1.5" rodends, custom valved to your set up.

    Yup this needs to happen already. I've determined that my ride is still shitty even with the front +2" LT because the rear setup is shitty. Just saving up to get the @ARCHIVE treatment

    2.5×14" has, it's on 3 trucks currently, should be about 10+ trucks soon. 12" will fit as well. Yes the kit requires spacers and negative offset wheels.
    Every drool worthy Tacoma out there runs spacers, literally just about every one, unless you have a custom axle. Just no one talks about it.

    Depending on your tire probably 1.5" to 1.75" with 14".
    I have 4.75" backspacing FJ steelies 7.5"wide, 1.25" Spidertrax spacers with 255/80-17 Cooper ST Maxx, and it might rub once I get my Deaver springs on. Since I installed my relocation, I started welding a 3/16" spacer washer to each tower to get the shocks closer to the bed to help.

    Also, spring over people will have a little more room, because spring under axle puts the lower shock mount low, which keeps the shock out farther with tire stuffed.
