Same ones I have...I have everything installed but forgot to order the adapter piece to connect the coax to the antenna so I am waiting for that to show up so I can mount the antenna, now you have me wondering if it will fit.

 

I dont really mind getting another piece of metal. I have used each mounting point on the reinforcements at least a dozen times already. I might as well keep the mounting points and just attach the CB mount.

Just keep cutting until you have very little left to remove, and cut some more just to be sure. Oh and a BFH, just keep swinging until you and all your friends get tired, then ask a neighbor to swing for a little bit.


In all seriousness. Remove cab mount, weld another cab mount back 3-4". From pinch weld cut from half way down to bottom, start peeling away the firewall while cutting the support pieces behind the firewall (difficult), once you peel most of the firewall away and can see roughly a 1.5x1.5ft hole into the interior of the truck, now start cutting/grinding back all the support pieces that was behind the firewall, make multiple marks so you can judge how much you have removed, once removed take the peeled away firewall and lay it back in place and tack, Now test full bump/lock, happy?, starting from the top lay the firewall down while tacking in place, once firewall is in place you will have to fill in the surrounding areas with sheet metal, once everything is good finish your welding and seam seal new firewall.

For the top of the wheel well. BFH BFH BFH, depending on your suspension you might have to cut out the top of your wheel well and re shape and weld another piece in. Test full bump/lock

even after all said and done you will likely deal with rubbing from time to time in new places

If you do not plan on SASing in the future, to gain full lock you will need to notch your frame. If SASing down the line I wouldn't worry and deal with the small amount of rubbing on the frame as your going to be plating that area anyways down the line and wouldn't make sense to notch it
