"Hello Tacoma world" I'm new to this forum thing but, I believe it will be cool with a lot of peeps who enjoy Toyota four wheeling as much as I do. Back in 1996 my 2nd car happened to be a 1984 Toyota Pickup. I drove it for awhile & decided the engine didn't sound as clean as I would like. I broke it down to the block & rebuilt it completely with 281k miles on it. Drove it for a week & decided it wasn't perfect. So I proceeded to rebuild the head over again. After that it purred like it was brand new. That truck could climb anything with it's 4 cylinder R22. It was my first love. We went everywhere. "One week later I flipped it & rolled it three times"

Every since I vowed to return to the Toyota realm & life happened. I new about the Tacoma coming about in 1995 but I was determined to get another Back-To-Future ride like I had. I really liked having two straight axles. This is a hard truck to find. Never the less I always kept an eye on this Tacoma truck & admired from a distance. I've had several close friends buy one. Life just kept happening. Finally after getting married & having two beautiful little girls I decided to start saving & ordered my 2017 Toyota Tacoma Sport 4x4 on March 30. I just got a text yesterday & was told it's here. Four months of agonizing patience. I'm finally able to enter the Tacoma World. With a similar wheel base as my '84 I am certain that I will have just as much fun as I did in my first Toyota. IMG_0735.jpg
