ObdII and tech stream. There are many out there. Combine the 2 in a Google search.

Looking at purchasing some of the cmc plates here soon. Any information on how to go about doing so would be great :)

you asked how to change the flashing from 3 to 4... assuming you mean the lane change flashing? if so, download the carista app for your phone... pair it with a bluetooth obd2 dongle... and pay for a weeklong pass of the carista premium service. it will let you change that along with a bunch of other things without having to talk to the dealer.

Not sure if you received a response to your presets question or not. My research showed they cannot be deleted. My work around was to change the number of available presets to a workable number (options are 6, 12, 18, 24 and 36 I believe) - 36 was default in mine - I changed it to 12 and overwrote all to eliminate any I had for XM which I did not buy after the trial. Change the preset quantity in the Radio settings. Good luck.

Carista is an app. It allows you to make most of the changes a dealer can. Turn signals, seatbelt chime, how long lights stay on, etc etc. you can get the dongle that connects to your OBD. I have it. Love it. The app is $20. Worth it.

Definitely carista. It's one of the best things I bought for the truck. It also works with OBD Fusion so I can use it to see lots of sensors.

Anyone have an idea how I can extend my running boards out further from the truck?

I'm not a fabricator of any kind but I'm sure pics would help including how it's mounted. :notsure:

I complained about this feature (or lack thereof) when I purchased my new Taco last Friday. The dealership said Toyota eliminated the instrument cluster roller dimmer switch due to safety/liability concerns - not being able to read the instruments at night because it was too dim to read. I immediately called BS. I discovered the odo dimmer function by accident last night.

Can't wait to return to the dealership to educate them on product knowledge.

    Cheers, Jules

Don't you just love spending thousands of dollars on a product from people who don't have a clue what they are selling.
