I had to scrub the bed of my wifes truck because I made the mistake of using her truck to transport my chainsaw after felling some trees at my parents. A little bar oil got on the cheap plastic bed, now it's degraded the bed a little and the plastic is sticky. Should have used a real truck.

The chainsaw was back there for two days. Maybe it's my fault.

Today I cleaned the throttle body. I wasn't planning on removing it but after I saw how the tooth brush was not cutting it, I decided to remove it and clean it properly. 10/10 would do again.

To sum up the sonbabitch was dirty af :bananadead:

I also used seafoam to top everything off :deadhorse:

And, cleaned up the engine a bit... Oh..and I found a surprise in the engine compartment too. This is why I hate Chipmunks and mice :infantry:

Just a regular wiring harness. No pressure switch. Nothing fancy. Turn it on when you want air, and off when you don't.

    None. Yet...
I bookmarked that same CustomCarGrill website a couple days ago with the intention of doing that too. Are you going to put the lower mesh in also?

Going to paint over the chrome bezel and match the MGM at the same time.

I have lightbsr that's going there. I need to cut out the lower valence. The only thing holding that up is my confidence in wiring it up.

Got my topper mounted light bar wired up. I used an add a fuse from the high beam fuse under the hood to a relay. Then ran the wires in a split loom all the way back and up the front of the topper. Not the most hidden way of running them but I wasn't ready to drill a hole in my topper just yet.

    20170729_125051.jpg

    With the topper slid back.

    20170729_101710.jpg

Topper back in the installed position.

    20170729_112949.jpg

I may get one of these to help spread the light forward instead of down on the roof.

Nighttime pictures to come in about 2 months :D
