    Ran to town this morning and got the metal to build the bed rack with. Bender will be here Tuesday and should have this thing finally built on Saturday.

    Got the bed rack done today, got a few minor things to finish up... antenna mount and hi-lift mounts, but for the most part it's good to go.

    I've had one for months. I thought I would wait for @RelentlessFab new rack, but slowly ran out of time to wait. Then I hired a local guy to bend the tube since I didn't have a tube bender. 6 weeks later he didn't even start. So said fuck it bought a bender and did it myself. If you don't count the cost of the bender it was only $150 in metal and about 10 hours of time

    Yea, Relentless said that new rack would be available last year, but now I'm more curious to why it's not available yet. I can only imagine that they might not have the time to refine it for production. Quite a few people were interested last I saw. Though having a bender will be nice. @NorthwestCruiser can abuse it when he needs :p

    Put 2 more cross bars on the rack for better mounting points and welded antenna mount to the rack as well. When I got home got to open the tent for the first time on the truck. IMG_1689.jpg

    I need to flip it around the other way so it opens on the driver side, and get a couple longer bolts for mounting the tent.

    After going in for an alignment and finding one set of tabs bent complete flat yesterday, I was able to bend them back and weld a bead behind them. Shouldn't be moving anytime soon. Now back to the alignment shop again.
