I have a 2016 Toyota Tacoma and really like the truck; however, I'm not a fan of the plastic bed. I bought a Toyota bed mat, which works well; however, the bed still feels kind of flimsy in certain spots.

Have any of you applied Line-X to the bed and tail gate to strengthen up the plastic? If so, how much did it cost and did you notice an improvement?

My brother had an F250 with a plastic liner, Cut a sheet of plywood to fit and he Line X'ed that to get some strength

Depending on which shop you ask they will either not warranty or reduce the warranty period because they say the plastic bed takes more prep to get the Linex to stick and it doesn't last as long on plastic as it does on metal.

I didn't stiffen the bed up much. But it really kept the cargo from sliding around. IMG_20150307_165500952_HDR.jpg IMG_20150307_165427660_HDR.jpg IMG_20150307_165346552.jpg It cost me about $450.00 to have it Line-Xed. IMG_20150307_165454826_HDR.jpg

I bought a used '08 back when that had it. It didn't stick and after watching it slowly peel off on the edges, I ripped it all out.
