If there is anyone not using their blue waterproof switch and wiring that comes with the kit, I will most definitely love to take it off your hands? Just need one extra for my OBA so that they are the same switches and if it won't be of use to one of you, I could definitely put it to some use. Please PM me

Got my kit on Monday. Haven't had a chance to open it up and check it out yet but I'll get to it in the next couple of days. Thanks again!

Just installed my kit and I already love it!! Great product and customer service. I installed mine in the cubby and it was actually pretty easy. I know some people have had some issues putting the cubby back in. But with some patience and the right angle the cubby will go in.

You were able to get the cubby back in the hole with everything connected? I ran mine the same way but haven't tried to pop it back in yet. Although it didn't look like it was going to want to...

The only thing that wasn't connected was the power button. But all the hoses, were connected when I installed the cubby. It didnt got in like a glove, but finding the right angle wasn't hard.

Great pictures! The one from underneath really helps show how much room there is. If anyone else does it this way, just keep in mind you can cut those hoses shorter. The are 3ft each, when i did an install like that i cut them down to 2ft. Just something to keep in mind. Little less hose to work with

I did cut mine down about a foot so we'll see how it goes in. I'll give a full report when the fist fight is over...

Got this installed in about two hours this afternoon. Really looking forward to using it this weekend. At my workplace I have access to empty 15 gallon aqua blue think plastic barrels (as pictured). Frankly I am a little letdown by the water pressure but comparing it to my home water hose is like apples:eek:ranges. Overall I am stoked! 20170804_135057_resized.jpg

Hey there. Glad to see you got everything hooked up, sorry to hear you are a bit let down by the performance. The pumps output of 1.1gpm pr 35psi is roughly half of that from a typical garden hose. The kit was designed with efficiency in mind. The main goal was to provide enough output to complete the basic tasks while still conserving as much water as possible. If the kit performed any stronger, users would go through water at an unbelievable rate. Since water is so heavy to transport and usually hard to find in places that you would use this pump, it needed to conserve as much as possible. These kits went through extensive testing before the final product was produced, and several pumps of higher output were tested. What I found is that higher output pumps not only didnt fit in the cubby, but also provided minimal increased performance and pressure but consumed more water. The trade off was not worth it. Larger RV pumps that have high enough outputs to run showers, flush toilets, and run faucets in RVs also cost over $200 for the pump alone, evenat wholesale rates which make it impractical for the general audience. I hope you are still satisfied enough you put the kit to use. If you do still want a larger pump, feel free to PM me and I will do my best to provide some suggestions on larger pumps you can purchase that may perform better.

Is it possible to use the pump to pressurize an onboard water tank to increase pressure, rather than just relying on the pump to continuously send out water from a non-pressurized tank?

Ummm, not really. Since the pump has a pressure switch on it, it automatically shuts off once it hits 35psi. So the tank will never build more pressure then what the pump already produces. What you're describing would go back to the idea of a water port or other home made pvc setup which is a pressurized water tank, but even those tanks are pressurized to a similar psi or less. This kit would still generate the same if not more then those setups. You can however add an accumulation tank, which honestly i dont know much about how that works exactly. But i know it would help stabilize the pressure and provide smoother pump operation and more consistent flow, but i have no idea if itll change output. I dont think it will. That was never explored as an option for this due to size, cost, shipping, and more complex plumbing and mounting.

I appreciate the thorough response! You have a great product and the kit provided was excellent from the start. Will do some in-depth testing this weekend (primarily washing dishes and cleaning the dog off while camping). I will certainly keep alternative options in mind but I really do think I will get used to this. Thanks again! I will certainly be recommending this kit to others
