Good Day- I have a 2017 TRD Sport has the factory front black skid- wondering what part number or such -- of the other skid plates available? do they just bolt on if you get a kit? or someone with a TRD off-road with pictures and instructions and have for sale- best paypal payer here =)

Novice here but would like to get the underbody protected -- OEM is preferred.

Welcome to TW. There are a lot of good aftermarket skids out there and you could just utilize the search function on TW to find them. I would make sure whatever you get has the cutout for changing the oil so the skid doesn't have to be dropped at every oil change. If you want OEM then your only option is the TRD Pro skid. Below is a link to the OEM skid plate with part numbers and price.

Yes Yes! Thank you! love this site-- ok let me rephrase- I like my stock sport TRD and like the air damn (don't want to remove it) and I have a skid up front from factory- not too concerned for the oil as the dealer will change it. (and this skid is fine) I'm wondering about mid or rear type skids that are OEM- maybe that came with the off road? I bought this truck sight unseen and haven't looked under an offroad. (not that it will be off road- just wouldn't mind a few more metal plates.) love the sport as it fits my needs- love the scoup and the painted bits. any pictures? or suggestions i see many skids on the forums.. just not images of mid or rear. Thanks guys!

If you are going to use the truck off road at all the front factory skid is minimal at best in terms of protection. The TRD skid is a larger skid that will replace your front and give you more added protection but there are better choices out there. As far as mid skids then look at RCI, Mobtown Off-Road, Pelfrey, and also just search skid plates on here. They are personal preference but almost all aftermarket skids offer far greater protection than the factory, which offers very little.

OEM skids are more like noise devices/feelers to tell you that you are scraping and maybe
get out and and evaluate your route to not scrape up stuff further. oem 20 years ago used to be tough
but nowadays it's limp. so if you plan on hearing a scrape, and matting it to continue pushing
through...aftermarket is the way to go
