    Awesome, thanks for that.

For my Sports grille, I plastidipped everything then removed the Toyota emblem and sprayed it with color-matched Dupicolor spray paint right over the derp. Worked well. I think I'll do the same with the Toyota lettering once I eventually get the pro grille.

To bring this back alive I was able to deal directly with Kyle from Cochrane Toyota and couldn't be more happy with the service. I picked up the Pro grill for $377 USD shipped to NJ!

hi, I installed mine and the bottom part still feels to me a bit loose. I attached the grill to the bezel securely .then put the attached unit into the trucks grill. Secured with screws and pins. But the bottom, though doesn't come out because it is attached up top, I can easily pull out ( bottom half). Is this normal?

I found this with mine initially. Then, when cleaning up and putting screws back in my chrome grill for storage, I realized I had a bunch of extra screws. I pulled my pro grill off the truck and noticed that I took too many screws out, even screws I needed, if my memory is correct, to fully secure the frame and grill surround. Once I put these 6 or 8 screws back it was solid. Yours should be solid. Look for extra screws.

Thanks for the reply. The insert pro grill is solid into the outer part. It is the outer part that I put the pro grill into that is not secure from the truck. In other words I can pull the bottom out easily. It doesn't rattle or anything. But thought it was odd

This sounds familiar. It's been a few months but I remember mine being similar. I think I remember there being a black plastic inner frame (for lack of a better term) that is secured by some screws to the color matched grill surround. I believe the pro grill snaps into this frame. I mistakenly took too many screws out thinking I had to when I removed the chrome grill. Then I popped the pro insert in and put it back on the truck. I noticed it was loose and finally realized that I'd removed too many screws initially. Once I figured that out I just looked to see where I needed to secure the black inner frame to the grill surround and reinstalled the screws. This may not fix your problem but my guess is you are missing a few screws where it's loose. Probably needed to secure the inner frame to the color matched grill surround. Good luck.

I just replaced the stock grille with the TRD Pro grille on my 2017 TACO (install date = 7/27/17). The TRD Pro Grille I installed used NO screws. That's NO SCREWS. ORIGINAL OEM (3 piece): Body frame => Grille Frame => Grille. REPLACEMENT TRD Pro (2 piece): Body frame => Grille.

From the original OEM "grille frame," I removed 8 - count them 8 - screws to separate the "frame" from the grille. These screws do NOT go back into the TRD Pro Grille. That's because the TRD Pro Grille only "clips" into the "body frame," eliminating ALL SCREWS used for the original "Grille frame." Only the "lower screws" surrounding the original "Grille frame" come out. Look at it carefully. The "higher screws" are "structure," NOT frame.

Yes, this sounds confusing. Yes, there is a slick video on YouTube (by a Toyota Dealer) saying you need to "remove 18 screws" and use "8 screws" to install the TRD Pro Grille (this is WRONG).

Again, REPLACEMENT TRD Pro (2 piece): Body frame => Grille. No screws, ONLY clips.

So those 2 circles are where the screw goes into? I thought the TRD Pro grill was just a clip on and done.

Man, that looks really good! Nice and clean. I just ordered a TRD Pro Grille for my 17 MGM. I've been really wanting to buy that same skid plate as well, but damn they want alot. Looks so good though.

Love the Rigid industries fog lights too. Been wondering how that hood decal would look too. Was thinking about getting the shorter one though. Nice truck brother!
