    Hi folks,
I test drove a 2017 TRD sport LB and was not impressed by the transmission (Auto). I see the manual has a different final drive ratio and lower mpg highway. The dealer didn't have a manual in stock - could someone let me know what the RPM is in 6th at 70mph, and 75?

    Thanks,
    Mike

It's almost exactly 2500 rpm at 75 but worth the hit to fuel economy.

I'm not sure if you test drove a new one or not but I had the most accurate test drive in a sales managers personal Tacoma.

With the way the ECU learns over the first couple thousand KM, the tranny at low KM is not an accurate representation.

I can tell you my 17' Pro auto is amazing, smooth shifting, never hunts, easy to initiate a gear change with the throttle and super fuel efficient.

Here is my commute to work this am:

    That's about 27mpg.
