My climate control lights do not come on when I turn my headlights on. I took the climate control panel and tested it with alligator clips and a battery and the lights come on, but when it is on the truck the lights will not come on when the headlights are on. Any information on possible wiring issues from the control from the headlights to the climate control would greatly be appreciated

@Wyoming09 all other dash lights work and I unplugged the entire climate control assembly and removed it and used alligator clips on the pins on the back of it and both lights lit up fine. 2009 5 lug

I am having a similar issue, just replaced the factory stereo unit this past weekend and after putting it back together, the AC and recirculation buttons have stopped lighting up/working. Would be curious to hear if you found anything else out.

Check if your getting voltage to the plug .

Could be corrosion on the plug you might not see it with your naked eye also bent pins from someone forcing things

A meter might show it should work but when plugged together it still won`t work

Thanks, i took it apart again tonight and noticed a tiny amount of rust colored residue on one of the receiving holes of the climate control plug. Didn't really even look like enough to cause a connection issue but I am getting it checked out by a local guy on Thursday.
