What's up everybody? Just got my brand new trd off road 4*4, and wanted to say hi! Plan on getting some Nerf bars, trd exhaust, and a soft topper for it. Anybody have any suggestions? Also looking for locking boxes for under the back seat. Any help would be appreciated!

    Working on it.
Welcome and congrats on your new truck! Take some time and check around the forums there is a ton of great information to be found. My suggestion is to do some reading then decide what is going to work best for you usage and then wait for a good sale or group buy on the products you are interested in to save some coin. In the mean time go drive that truck.:mudding:

Trade the soft topper for some SR Dark Satin Alloy Wheels.

I saw some sweet bronze colored wheels that would look nice on my truck, but i like the factory ones for now. Is there something wrong with the soft topper, or you just don't like them?

I don't like any topper personally. But it's your truck, your money.

    Welcome!

I would say it depends on what you plan on doing with your truck....and how much time you spend on here hahaha.

I got my TRD Off Road about 1 year ago with the only mod planned being better tires.

Here I sit now with a suspension lift, rock sliders, new tires, upgraded skid plate, LED light bar and fog light pod, and TRD Pro grille :p

I would caution you on the Nerf Bars if you do plan on heading off road. I had some OEM running boards and bent them into the rocker panel my first off road trip lol. It was avoidable for sure, but I feel much better now with some sliders.

Yes, it's an addiction and this site will help feed it. I tallied up all the money I've spent on my Taco and it was quite a large sum. I am doing a lot of the labor myself so saving more money that way.

Hi, and welcome. Save your money on the exhaust. Just buy a Magnaflow muffler. Don't expect more power, though, but do expect nice sounds. As for the nerf bars, I am a big fan of the Nfab products. Check them out. Cheers.

I love my softopper. Works great and is very easy to put on and take off as needed.

Did you get yours from soft topper, or are there other brands you'd recommend?

Are there any sliders that have a step? My wife is a bit of a shorty and that would be helpful for her.

I got mine straight from softopper. Bestop also has one but they have windows on the sides. I don't need windows and didn't want to bother with removing them separately and storing those.
