No problem! When i picked up the vehicle they said they hadn't worked on it because the tech couldn't hear the noise.
I told them i'd wait for a tech to ride with me. As soon as we drove together he "suddenly" noticed it right away and it was fixed the next day VIA Cab Mount Bolts.

Did you ever find out what and where the cab mount bolts are?

Man, that's too bad you're having issues! I personally believe a specific manufacturer plant had issues.. Zero problems other than these bolts i love my Tacoma

I love mine too. 20k miles and not a problem yet. Besides, I figure it is a truck... I got it to work on it. It has definitely met my expectations so far.

Was this the front mounts by the radiator or the cab mounts behind the wheel. Trying to diagnose a similar problem.

I have this same symptom. Can these mounts necessarily be diagnosed with a visual inspection? It seems that it is relatively equal between the cab mount and radiator support mounts being the culprit.

No you cannot (to my knowledge). There is rubber around the bolts. When you remove the mounts the bolt will be snapped within the rubber.

It'll be under warranty. I would just take the vehicle in. Ride with the technician and suggest the cab mount bolts and they'll pull them off.
