Not to derail, I purchased the Engel 23 quart backpack cooler for like $110 and it's a great cooler. Holds ice really well good room and just a little less than half the price of the on sale yeti

I have a Similar one brand is Titan. Probably will stop seeing them sold though as I heard Yeti was suing some companies that make similar products. Wife works in promo products and some of their vendors stopped carrying them due to that.

I will say the build quality and material of the Yeti was awesome. Wife would kill me if I came home with one.

The law suit's were about copyright & patent infringements . I called BS on yeti at first until I spent a night or three reading the complaints from yeti and the responses by some of the defendant companies ....great reading if you want something to put you to sleep :). Anyway Yeti in my opinion and the courts, had and has every right to shut down the companies that ( stole ) there proprietary properties. It was blatant what the defendant companies did. The amount of time and $ that yeti spent in R&D and patent costs and time, just to have others blatantly and illegally knockoff there intellectual properties was amazing .
That being said :). I bought a yeti and use it, but have an Engel also, that again IMO is every bit as good as the yeti enjoy both .

Just a bit of trivia being provided at 2:03am by a insomniac ! Lol
    Gnite all

    ah nice knowledge drop.

Got an email today from the leader of all copy cat goods Monoprice. Looks like they have their own knock off of Yeti coolers. Anyone try these?

They are still there, but only the hopper 40. Already have a tundra 65 so to big for me. Was hoping they'd have the hopper flip.
