Pulled the passenger fold flat seat, into a nice warm house it goes. Bottom cover went on without too much trouble. Then things started going sideways.

Getting the back under the plastic covers of the side pivots for the fold flat part has proved undoable at this point. The plastic is too tight to stuff the new cover under it, plus it looks like the two ends with velcro are supposed to be put together underneath the pivot cover.... uhh how?

The instructions are a joke, and the pics suck too lol.

Damned frustrated right now, any words of wisdom from you smart folks?

Have you checked out any of the youtube videos, I can not help you with the fold flat as mine does not have that feature. Yes they are not a lot of fun to install but well worth the effort when done.

Thanks but yes, I've looked on Youtube. Lots of stuff there, but so far I haven't found anything that deals with the fold flat seat. The drivers seat looks straight forward and I'm sure I can handle that, but this fold flat seat is kicking my ass.

Add to that, CS appears to have left early today. Well it is F13th I guess. I'll have a chat with them Monday, and if they say "just take your time, it's like installing any other seat cover", I'm going to say some really bad words to them. arrrrgggg

Anyone that has put these covers on a FOLD FLAT PASSENGER SEAT, please, please tell me how. I will name my first born after you, altho he may not like the name change after this many years. ;)

I hope by now you have installed your seat cover? I bout blew my seat up with frustration trying to get mine on so I feel your pain! There isn't even enough space to slide that thick pieces of leather under the plastic piece! I eventually took the plastic piece off then of course one of the clips broke to put it back on so I had to glue it back then after finally being defeated both mentally and physically it decided it tortured me long enough and slid back into place!

Sorry for the late reply, but yes they are on. I took it to a local upholstery shop. I unbolted the seats for them, and 2+ hours and $50 later, the covers were installed. The fold flat seats took two of them and unbolting the side hardware to get it to fit. I would have never figured out how to remove the plastic without breaking the damned things off, then seeing how they were supposed to come off. :(

Altho they don't fit super perfect, I am happy with them. They look much clazzier :) than the canvas Covercrafts the truck came with.

    Anyone seen my wallet?
It was by far the most frustrating part of the install. I just took the bottom part of the flap that goes around the plastic and pulled like hell toward and around the plastic and it all went into place. I wish i could explain it better but it worked.

    Good luck.

Pretty sure those clips are designed to break if you pull the cover off
