If you get one like the middle one that has an all metal nozzle, you don't need any protection. I had one exposed in my bed for over a year, and only a tiny bit of surface corrosion (not rust). Whatever metal that is, it's extremely resilient because that was living right near the beach.

Another benefit is that the all metal ones are servicable and refillable.

 

I need to check the specs on it when I get home. I suppose I could also give it a nice coating of Fluid Film or something similar.

 

I should also clarify the only slight corrosion was on the nozzle itself, and the body was immaculate. A little FF wouldn't be a bad idea.

Anyone know if the console cover is the same size on a 2011 as on a 2012 and newer?

 

I've owned both a 2005 and a 2015 and judging by my butt dyno, they're the same.

 

Not sure, can't remember if my 09' was the same.

 

Hit the truck with a coat of 205 the other day. Today, I plan in sealing the paint after work. It should stay nice and shiny for the next 6 or so months.

 

What is this stuff you mention?

 

Very nice and clean. I'd probably have to buy a smaller extinguisher to fit there though.
