it may be nice to have an offer, but in the scheme of vehicle buying/modification, 2800 bucks isn't a whole lot. plus you would probably not get something as good as what you have now.

you kinda know now what the truck is like (i would assume), performance and maintenance wise. you will have some doubts with a different used truck "is something major gonna fail after i take possession of this?"

my vote is keep it. especially seeing as how the truck has the specs u want. itll be hard to find that again.

Edit: he can make me an offer on mine ;) (i want 4x4!!:()

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    Pros (IMHO)
    - same motor as a SecGen V6 Tacoma
    - a lot of aftermarket support

    Cons
    - smaller gas tank (IIRC)
    - don't care for the white tops (TRD OR is all black )

I believe the FJ uses the 4-Runner engine, not the Tacoma motor. I may be wrong. I think it has dual VVTi.

I'm not saying I regret getting rid of my 01 for my new 10, but if my daughter, who will be born in June and her car seat would have fit in the back of my cab, I would still have the 01. Just my opinion, but I really did love my old truck. Not sure if the second gen truck will be as good my old one though. With an offer like you got, I don't blame you for considering selling it.

The '10 FJ has Dual VVT-i. Prior years are the same 1GR as the tacoma.
