I think it's either the very upper upper end of moderate or the lower middle end of difficult. You'll need full skids, rock sliders and good 33" tires. Plate bumpers and rear locker reccommended. And beer for the camping. The trail changes all the time so it varies a lot.

    Here's a bunch of videos on Youtube....https://www.google.com/search?q=you...69i57j69i64.8327j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

Like my wife says, "its very hard"

    Kidding.

I did it open/open. Full skids and bumpers. I was fucking around and ended up bashing the whole side of my truck. This year should be a cake walk with dual lockers

Nice, dual lockers! What kinda lockers did you get? I want to do a regear in September or October....comtemplating front locker. I'm leaning toward no.

I just regeared with 4.88's. Regret not getting a front locker. I say do it.

The justifications against are "I don't want to break CV's" and "It's not worth the money".

I can't argue on the money part, but I would have to pay 50 - 75% more to get one installed now instead of when it was regeared. And it would probably be more than $1k. Compressor, manifold... for us e-locker guys, it's a bigger add on vs. someone who's installing a rear ARB.

On the CV argument.... you don't have to push the button...

Yeah, as long as you're careful and use it sparingly you won't snap the CV's. ARB has been having a special...free compressor with locker purchase.
Also I can swap out my spare CV axle in about an hour. I can do it 45 minutes after I've had a 20oz Denoggonizer.

I only use the front easy button when the rear locker wouldn't cut it, and my front wheels aren't all jacked off.

Well...you could also use the ARB compressor as on board air as well...right?

The other option is to just leave it as is.

I have had a CKMTA12 sitting in my garage for 6 months. I really have no excuse. Bought it specifically for OBA. 4x the volume of my Viar 300P.

I'm not 100% sure if I would have regeared with an automatic. I've never driven an auto with big tires.

    Well said!

but I say, "push all the buttons! Light that cab up! " lol

yup, swapped my axle on slickrock in under an hour. With the help of a few good men!

I bought the adapter (like $25) I use mine to air up. Pretty quick too. I have the Med size compressor. free ninety nine with the purchase of two lockers

Speaking of compressors. That one you sold me still works. I was getting ready to trash it this weekend when I noticed one of the main power wires had came undone. Spliced it together and its now sitting in my wife's trunk. She has hella junk in the trunk now :p
