    Hi TW,

My neighbor is trying to sell me brand new the standard method machined 17x8.5. For 600 bucks.. is that a good deal?

Might be a dumb question but it says +25 offset on the box. Is +25 equivalent to 0/4.75 or -12/4.5?

I only see those two options on the main website. Which one would be a good offset for a stock set up. No lift etc.?

Also if you have pictures of this wheel with a silver 3rd gen please post!

    Thanks in advance

That offset will give you 5.75 in backspace. That is to much backspace. Check out TireRack. Put in your truck info and it will show you what fits your truck.

I have the 17x8.5 method standard with 0 offset, fits perfect. I agree with #4TOY4ME, I think 25mm offset would be too much.

+25mm offset is too high on our trucks.

+25mm = 5.75" back spacing and is no way equivalent to 0mm offset and 4.75" back spacing which is the correct fit to the Tacoma.

If you like those wheels, I can get you a set new direct from Method for $625.60 :spy:

You'll find them when you find them
Wheels can take a long time since there's so many and you'll have them for a long time! You do always have the fall back of selling them here or craigslist if you get them and end up not liking them.

    The fit you need is:

    17" x 8" with 0mm offset / 4.5" back spacing
    17" x 8.5" with between -6mm and 0mm offset / 4.5" BS - 4.75" BS
17" x 9" with -12mm offset / 4.5" BS. (with 9" wide it's very important to double check your tires too make sure they'll mount this width)
