Boost, armor, lights, big tires, no savings.
I stepped up to a 34 X 11.5 in Falken AT3W tire last year and thought I'd offer some images of the process. I was riding on 265/75/ r16 Cooper AT/3 on stock off road rims prior to. Great tire all around. Was looking to go more aggressive, taller and without gaining much width. Also wanted a severe snow rated tire.
    Suspension Set up-
    Bilstein 6112, 4th notch
Fox 2.0 Rear shocks, Toytec flavor that matches Dakars
    Dakar Leaf pack
    LR UCA
    Super bumps all around
    U bolt Flip kit

I only came across a few others who have ran this tire size, and only a few options in this size.

A few that come to mind is-
    Cooper AT/3- Hard to find
Cooper ST MAXX- Harder to find
    Nitto Trail and Terra Grappler
Toyo Open Country A/T2 and M/T
    and a few others...

Proper backspacing to avoid the need for spacers-
I decided on a set of 17 FJ rims. Was able to get a set of 5 for cheap.

will add more as time permits...

I like them a lot. They ride better than I expected for an E rated tire. Lots of time on gravel and they aren't showing much damage. They are predictable in the snow. I don't rock crawl or desert race but I do ride the backroads and my own woods trails. I usually ride them at ~34psi. On long HWY trips I bump them up to ~55. I also have some adjustable valve stems set to 18psi for play time. The tread wear appears acceptable, have heard some negative assessments though. I have additional weight over stock and I'm boosted. I do think that it will be more enjoyable if/when I re-gear.
