I recently bought some 5100 bilstein with ride height adjustability. The range of adjustment is 0 - 2.5 inches and I wanted some recomindation to see what height I should choose for mostly street and occasional off road.

Mine was level at 0.85", the second notch above 0. Then I got the recall leafs that sagged within a month now I have the Cali tilt.

Mine are set at .85" also, and I have a Toy-tec AAL in the rear (along with recall leafs) - leveled it up for me. I have an access cab, so I get a bit more lift that a double cab. It also settled after a few weeks, so with the AAL I have a slight rake still.

Another consideration is the higher you go, the more likely you'll get the needle bearing vibration...

I set some radio stations. That's about it so far.
Are you lifting it for any particular reason? Larger tires or something? I think it would look a little empty in the wheel wells if you just leave the stock tires on there. So the height is part of the equation of what else is changing on the truck.

This is true... I have stock Cooper AT3 265/65R17. I plan to go up when these wear out to 265/70R17, just a bit larger.

I prefer to leave them set at 0 and achieve lift with a spring like the OME 887. Much better ride quality.
