You have inspired me, I have been ignoring those promotion email for a while. Got $15 dollars yesterday, spent $0.48 and got a square. Curious, do you have the stuff shipped or pickup in store? I did instore pickup, figuring it would be ready same day, but didn't get the email to pick it up yet.

Cutting my in law's grass today after work since they are still in Portugal. Tomorrow helping the wife set up for a little tag sale she wants to have, in the AM. Then helping my neighbor since I have a trailer, and he has some branches and stuff he wants to go throw away, and in the "evening" cutting my grass. Sunday, I have to go cut my buddies' grass after I play pickup soccer in the AM, since he's in Portugal for 3 weeks.

So far, that's it... I'm sure other stuff will come up.

    You?

The Owl's Head museum is doing their annual 'Wings and Wheels Spectacular' this weekend. They always have a bunch of vintage warbirds show up for this one, so I'm washing and waxing the '69 tonight after work. Saturday's supposed to be 50/50 on the weather, so I'm planning on Sunday. Saturday will probably be a firewood day.

They've got this one there this year. :bananadance: Arrived on Friday:

Not much for me - at some point I have to take stuff from my brothers house to put in his storage unit since they are about to put their house on the market and need to make it less little kid toy filled.
I'm sure the GF has something wedding planning related I need to do. And the normal yardwork.

I'm probably gonna fish Saturday unless it's lightning, then Sunday is supposed to be nice so I'm thinking a long motorcycle ride somewhere. Probably Vermont, haven't done a Tour De Gaps this year yet.

I like them much better than the tough mudder. I think the obstacles are better/funner/much tougher. Plus at TM people just blatantly skip obstacles. At Spartan at least theres a penalty for not completing them(or is supposed to be anyways). I usually go in the competitive heat early in the morning, not because I'm particularly fast(I'm slow as hell), but because unlike the open heats they actually make sure people do their burpees if they fail an obstacle.

TM the hardest thing is the distance, and even that's not bad. The elevation change is the real killer there. The Spartan sprints/ super in Boston area are on relatively flat terrain. The beast on the other hand is at Killington and is a soul crusher. Basically slogging up and down the mountain all day carrying various odd/ akward things.

I haven't fished once this year, and I live on a lake. It's literally 50' from the back of my house just begging me to come fish

I'm going to have to try them out next year. I've only done the one TM so far. I was given a 2PM start time even though I requested an early morning and registered 8 months prior. I was the 3rd person in standby and got in a 8:15AM wave. It wasn't that crowded thankfully. I didn't see many people skipping the obstacles, but doing it solo it made it kinda difficult. I was able to complete all the obstacles which I was happy about,

Moving my brother into his new place Saturday, and then work on my cousin's Tacoma on Sunday before she goes down to Florida for 3 months (but I really want to go motorcycle riding since it has been weeks, and the weather looks good!).

You should stop by the house some weekend, then. I'll let you lug the 4-foot logs I've got worked up in the lower piece of my property up to the yard where I'm working them up into stove-length, lol. It's taking me forever to get them all up there. Most of them are dropped where I can't get at them with the truck or the tractor (too lumpy; lots of big rocks in the way) so I'm doing the old 'Ahnold carry' and bringing them up to the wood lot that way. The smaller ones aren't bad, but some of the larger-diameter ones probably weigh in the neighborhood of 175-200lbs and I'm finding that I require a break after I lug one up. The Terminator makes it look easier than it is, haha!
