My son flipped his 91 Tacoma into our stream. Thank God he is ok . It was about 3/4 of the way over for at least an hour before the tow truck pulled the pickup out. No visable damage to front end , the oil pan and transmission did not show any signs of scrapes or damage. The drive shaft , skid plate , got scraped up. It will crank a small amount, and then seems to lock up. Could oil have gotten into top of cylinders and cause it to not crank?

Pull the plugs and try cranking it over, water might have gotten into them

you've got oil in the cylinders, like taco fire said, pull all the plugs and crank it over until clears, I pumped out over two quarts when I flipped my Tacoma. It's possible you've bent a rod when attempting to start, the oil locks it up, and must be cleared
