    I don't know the manufacturers answers. Thinking about science I wouldn't vent them. If you vent during the hot day, they are normal, but then during the cooler night they will suck in. They are meant to handle the expansion and contraction. My knockoff "Nato" can expanded and hasn't gone back to its correct shape, even vented lol its just cheap thin metal and bent. I got the, Wavian, real ones now and am happy. They swell and contract some but always go back to their correct shape.

    Went to Ralph Hayes to solve the problem on my truck
    . Ha bunch of crap.. needless to say they will never touch my truck again.. I'm not for bad mouthing a company but good grief!.. I showed him what my wheels looked like before, showed him the clear coat chipping already just a week old, and showed him the 80 psi pictures I took, and showed him the wheel weights missing and also not putting full synthetic oil in when that's what I wanted. All he said was " well the new color looks good" I'm sure your truck threw the weight off being lifted and heavy tires, didn't say a thing about the 80psi nor the oil change. I was holding back today.. normally I would have told him where he could have shoved his Prius and hope he burns in a car fire.. slow and painful .. but instead I said fix the wheel weight issue.. they did.. he said sorry and I didn't even acknowledge the piece of crap.
