Yes that's the power it makes in a Lotus Evora with a bolt on super charger. I understand that the exhaust cams are slightly different, ecu tune and that's about it. So where do we get one? I'd settle for half that increase. GTS Bruce

The torque is low. This must be a high revving system. Nice for a feather weight Lotus, but maybe not appropriate for a 4400 lb Tacoma.

There are many more differences between the FSE and FKS

Also the lotus comes with the FE, non direct injection

would that make the FKS potentially a decent platform for a SC kit, given that we all want it down low? or does it not really matter? (having DI, that is).

More power is always appropriate and with a supercharger it will be night and day difference across entire RPM band.

I always thought the Lotus used the Camry motor. Is the new Camry running the same 3.5L as the Tacoma?

the lotus uses the old camry motors.

would be great if we could make something happen with magnusson but that's up to them ultimately.

Why not a 60ish mm Borg Warner EFR series turbo? Far more torque, and you could recoup some thermal and pumping losses.

    ^ This.

My question was going to be at what RPM does it make the torque?

Consider the Honda S2000. A 2.0 liter 4 that made 240 hp, but at 7800 RPM. Max torque at 6500 RPM.

Ok stuff on the track, but drivability on the street wasn't nearly as fun as it should have been.

Agreed. I think a small, ball bearing turbo is a better starting point.

I'd be in for a turbo, that would be awesome!

I think this is the dyno sheet. If I remember right a stock 3rd gen makes around 230lb of tq to the wheels and this dyno shows the supercharged 3.5L making that power at 2500rpms. Not too shabby.
