I got my daughter the Savage axis II. It's got a synthetic stock stainless action and barrel and the Accutrigger. I put a Vortex scope in a DNZ 1 piece mount, bore sighted it then put 4 rounds of factory ammo through it to get it close to zero. The first hand loads I put through it were the 100 grain Barnes TTSX. First 5 shot group the rifle ever shot went a into 3/4 inch hole.

Speaking of guns, what are some of you AR owners doing to make your AR's compliant with the new gun laws? I'm ordering the MagLock pin tool so I dont have to register them as "assault weapons".

 

I thought the courts held up the law. I was looking at doing the same thing but am going to wait until this is decided. Also, Gov.
