Hey guys.... I'm currently shopping for wheels and tires...

Here's my hang up... I was planning on a 16X8 and running at 285/75/16, but upon shopping found that E-Load range is all that is really available in that size.

So, started to consider 17's (the Falken WildPeaks come in a P-metric & E in that size).

There is an 11 pound difference between the 16's and the P-metric 17's.....

Maybe a mile difference in fuel economy between the 2 setups, what else am I not considering here?

I don't need the E, but like the look of the extra sidewall in the 16, but also don't want to limit options in the future that a 17 might give me.

    Thoughts?

I prefer a 16" wheel but there are way more tire choices with 17". If/when I get new wheels, I'll probably do 17" bc of this.

    Not to mention they're cheaper.

Ended up deciding on 16's.... It's only money right?

    Good choice, sidewall is king.

I like my KO2 in E. I had Duratracs in C rated and they were soft like stock in turns. The E's are stiffer as already known and hold corners better. I don't feel like I'm driving a Lincoln Towncar boat anymore.
