Wanted to see if anyone has installed this URD product as yet ?

Do you run into any CEL issues ? I assume the CAT are removed with this...

Thinking of using the power extractor along with the URD Pipe... comments and feedback welcomed...

Yes the power extractor pipes remove BOTH sets of cats.

Yes it WILL give you a check engine light if you remove BOTH sets of cats.

That being said, it gives you the option to tune the engine for significantly more power, as well as giving you a super loud exhaust note. If thats your style then go for it. I prefer the spec U full exhaust myself, gives you more power without the ridiculousness and you can still somewhat fly under the radar if you want.

thanks for the input... its a TRD Tacoma Pro.. so already has the TRD Cat Back ....outside of the US so no radar to worry about... just trying to avoid the CEL... will have to think about it...

What about if you just went with the Y pipe.. i think you should be clear of the CEL correct ?

As far as I can tell it depends with the y pipe. My truck would intermittently get a CEL with y pipe and turn down exhaust tip, I'd have to clear it about once every two weeks on average. I am 100% sure there was no leak as well.

Other users have reported not having CELS at all.
I since upgraded to the spec u full exhaust and haven't had a single CEL since! The Spec u is a better option all around but if you already have a catback then the y pipe would be cheaper since the spec u comes with the catback pipe and the y pipe
