I love it. They make the leap from electric to charcoal really easy and it's so versatile for many other types of meats and cooking styles.

Think I panicked a little using a new cooker and pulled too early, but they look pretty good for my first attempt on charcoal

That just means you'll have to eat all that so you can do it all over again. :D Haven't made me some saucy ribs in quite awhile, but those look good :hungry:

Sounds good! It's worth it if you're looking for something easier. Works as a grill too

    :goingcrazy:

Just doughed in and have the smoker going!

Now I need to run out and recharge my wife's car a/c and add a little dye so I can figure out where the leak might be...

My Craigslist score today for $25. Bowl ha a few rust spots. Other than that, it's a great deal. Really bought it for the table:thumbsup:

Even came with a large weber charcoal chimney and charcoal box

To those who said they do not put water in the bowl in a WSM. I tried my hand yesterday and today at using the WSM 14 without water in the bowl. It was way too inconsistent for me. As soon as I put water in it today, the temps stabilized within 10 minutes.

Maybe it will work better on the bigger WSM's.

I proboly have used the pan 2-3 times in the last 5yrs. It takes time. BBQ is all about patience and routine. Keep working at. You will get it. Once you adjust your vents. Give it a solid 15-20min to adjust. So fire it up an hour before you thrown the goods on
