    This^.

I have heard Toyota haters call any TRD a "turd", no matter what generation it is.

I traded in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon for my 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD OffRoad and love it! Haven't had any problems with it.

I just saw a new production Colorado, first one I've noticed. I thought it looked like a new Ridgeline. I think they both are ugly. Any generation of Tacoma looks much better, and 3rd Gen looks best of all.

Yup..they all have that minivan looking cab. So ugly. I'll take my Tacoma any day despite the few quirks.

It was witty the first thousand times I read it. Now, not so much. Ita like that Aunt that has a pet nickname for you and, while it was funny when you were six years old, is not when you are 50 years old. I'm not a sensitive snowflake. It just one of those things that gets on your last nerve after awhile. Talk about sensitive though, when a established member puts you on their ignore list for correcting their opinion and myth perpetuation with facts and data... that is the definition of sensitive snowflake. It's funny when a bully meets someone he cannot bully lol.

Ford managed to get 122 HP from a 5L engine in 1975.... The early emmisions years in the 70s were "interesting"...

Some people can dish it out day & nite to those that can't fight back, but they can't take a little fact checking to their innuendos. The ignore list is their friend and if that don't work crying to the mods that can hammer you works too. Ask me how I know lol!

    Cheers!

It's good to see the 3rd Gen evolving, I wouldn't buy any 1st years of a new model, those are always the beta years of testing.
Sad to see all the problems some owners are having to deal with.
Also, seeing some of the aftermarket tuner solutions that are coming out, the 3rd Gen can be made to have decent performance!

Don't turn your truck in for the diff recall for minor seepage, just make sure the diff is full until toyota has the parts in stock!

Yeah, I drove a 2018 rental corolla with lane departure and adaptive cruise control. It was nice for a bit, then it got old. I started missing having a car that I can drive my self, and felt really disconnected front the car. I couldn't see my self actually using most of that stuff. It takes the fun out of driving (I enjoy driving lol).

Although I've never owned one, when the early Dodge Durangos appeared on the roads I thought they were pretty cool looking, they had an interesting truck-like hood. Then they changed them and they looked almost like a mini-van for a long time. Now they look better again, although I liked the early ones best.

I guess tastes change and what looks good in '00 might not in '17, etc., but I've always liked the look of a longer hood/engine compartment/front-end on vehicles. Tacomas, especially the new ones (Turd Gen o_O), have a nice long hood. The new Ridgelines and Colorados have a snub-nose, and that makes them look like a sawed-off mini-van IMHO.
