    I work in a tire shop. You do not need to go to the dealer to reprogram the sensors. 90% of all tire shops should have a reprogram module. We have four for a indenpendent tire/mechanic shop. When mine go out I'll just replace one at a time and reprogram. I can help out anyone with a reprogram if your close by.

    It would be really nice if someone made a sensor so the batteries could be replaced instead of having change out the whole damn sensor. :rant:

    I've open up some sensors to try that. The problem I ran into is finding the right battery. There's no marking on it. Plus the battery has a small weld to the prongs of the sensor. Hard to get off without ruining the sensor. I'm still trying. Once I figure something out I'll post it. I got plenty of sensors at work to play with.
