    It's removable :) I bought a skeleton mount for my hero3 and 3 meter power cord on Amazon for $15. Ran the cord under the headliner, down the pillar, under the glovebox, and under the console trim. Looped it back up the console exterior and into the console so it's hidden.

    Yeah, that's the mount I use, just got a long cord so I could hide it and not worry about power.
