I have been searching the Forum for a while now and I have yet to come across a harness or mod to retain the (2012-2015) factory Mic with an aftermarket headunit. I currently have an Alpine ILX-007, and as most headunits they it has a option on the screen for camera.. This button is inactive such that the camera does not work since the OEM camera is powered via reverse signal as well as being reduced to a 6V current. I am the kind of person who likes the product to work like its supposed to and I would rather use the button on the screen for anytime camera rather than using the "Camera anytime mod" where it taps the reverse signal and switches the screen over every time i turn the switch. Anyways, cut to the chase... I am looking at fabricating a harness that allows the use of the Camera button on various headunits any time and the retention of the OEM mic with aftermarket headunits that use a 3.5mm mic jack. I feel fairly confident in my skills of creating such a device but the problem would be minimizing the cost for production so it will serve its purpose without being too expensive, I'm still looking at parts, but current production cost is somewhere from 35-40 $ but this is tentative to change... Im looking to see if there is interest in this kind of product.

The reason for my poll is to see what the average demand price is, because if the demand price is too low, I cannot produce these harnesses because the production cost will outweigh the cost users would purchase for
